Even with all of his wisdom, Solomon knew that the wisdom of God is beyond compare.  “Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.” (Proverbs 28:26)  Paul also appreciated the greatness of God’s wisdom.  “For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” (1 Corinthians 1:25)  We may not be able to have wisdom on the level that God has, but we are told how we can increase what we do have.  “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.” (James 1:5)
