2023 Day 166 – Psalms 134, 146-150

2023 Day 166 – Psalms 134, 146-150

Have you ever been let down by someone that you trusted?  The Psalmist tells us who we can and cannot trust.  “Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,” (Psalm 146:3-5)  The Proverb writer points out that the Lord is to be trusted even more than our own selves.  “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Today’s reading: Psalms 134, 146-150
