No matter whether we are rich or poor, all blessings that we have are from our Heavenly Father.  “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” (James 1:17)  “The rich and the poor meet together; the LORD is the Maker of them all.” (Proverbs 22:2)  The blessings that we have been given were intended to also be shared with others.  “In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35)  As true followers of Christ, we are to show love to our fellow man.  “But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him?” (1 John 3:17)
