2020 Day 296 – Isaiah 21-24 and Psalms 113

The Psalmist knew that our Heavenly Father deserves all the honor that we can give Him.  “Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!” (Psalms 115:1)  Paul stressed this same point to the Romans.  “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” (Romans 11:33-36)  Jesus told us how we can help give glory to Him.  “By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” (John 15:8)
