2020 Day 166 – Numbers 15-16 and Proverbs 14

Sometimes we think we have it all figured out, but if our plan does not follow God’s plan we will be lost.  “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12)  Even the most intelligent person on this earth does not compare to our Heavenly Father’s great knowledge.  “For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” (1 Corinthians 1:25)  “For the wisdom of this world is folly with God. For it is written, ‘He catches the wise in their craftiness,’ and again, ‘The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.’” (1 Corinthians 3:19-20)  “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)  The key to getting the knowledge we need is to go to right source.  “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.” (Proverbs 3:5-7)
