2020 Day 126 – Genesis 37-38 and Psalms 124

Sometimes our life does not go as we planned or hoped. I would say Joseph felt that way some days, the following verse being one of those days. “Then some Midianite traders passed by, so they pulled him up and lifted Joseph out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. Thus they brought Joseph into Egypt.” (Genesis 37:28 NASB) As scripture allows us to follow along in Joseph’s life, we see one thing that never wavered. His faith. With a strong faith he was able to withstand whatever satan threw at him while standing strong and true. As we read on thru the Bible we see how God used Joseph and his obedient faith to do great things. How does our obedient faith compare to Joseph’s as we face our own trials?
