2020 Day 124 – Genesis 33-34 and Psalms 122

Are there places you get to go that make you happy?  David had one.  “I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” (Psalms 122:1)  Why was he glad?  What did he do there?  The 100th Psalm helps answer those questions.  “Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.” (Psalms 100:1-5) Today as we return to meeting together, I feel as David did and am glad to be able to worship and glorify our Heavenly Father!
