2020 Day 51 – Romans 1-3 and Psalms 51

Have you ever been ashamed of something?  There are things that should cause us to be ashamed, but as Paul tells us in his letter to the Romans, the Gospel is not one of them.  “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16)  In the next chapter he shares with us that along with that believing the Gospel of Christ, we must also live for Him.  “He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury.” (Romans 2:6-8)
